The title says it all. The one good thing that might come out of all this is that people will realize the police have way too much power and need to be dialed back a little.
Maybe folks will begin to realize that there are simply too many laws. All these laws give “law enforcement” entirely too much power over our lives. In a truly free society, police would function simply as a “peace force” and be peace officers, not law enforcement officers.
This is a golden opportunity for us to re-examine what it means to be free and take that freedom back. No more enforcement of victim-less crimes. No victim-no crime.
